Nimby - a life sized public art installation built by me in the last three weeks and installed in Ashford, Kent. This piece reflects how art is sometimes viewed by the general public. The elephant represents the fun side of contemporary art and how some can see it as a destructive force. The police are the local residents trying to stop it heading towards the town and causing 'destruction'. The piece references the phrase 'An elephant in the room' whereby something this big should never be overlooked and cant possible be missed
